![]() ![]() With every update it becomes harder and harder for newcomers to actually get somewhere. They completely ignore feedback and will do the opposite of what is needed to keep people actually happy. The devs are outright hostile towards the community. So there's a good chance you will never be able to play those modern vehicles you see in the ads. The grind will make you so depressed you will find yourself standing on the ledge of a bridge within a week. But because there are 0 other games that do what War Thunder does, Gaijin has 0 incentive to actually listen to the community. They should be listening to the community to improve their game. Gaijin is part of an industry where games have to be made FOR the community. This is the 5th time I've uninstalled it. Basically its like having a relationship with a narcissist - it does nothing for you, especially in the long run, all it does is trauma bond you. Perhaps though a few reminders of how bad it is to you. It is very addictive (like gambling), the trick is to avoid thinking about it, don't look up anything, delete all knowledge from your search history, every instance until its gone from your life - anything that had something to do with it, just get rid. Find other avenues to enjoy your life as this isn't it. The answer is to not play it, uninstall it. It is the only game that frustrates me (to the point of insanity), and downgrades my quality of life. Very Addictive (like a relationship with a narcissist) ![]() They have perfected the strategy of frustrating you enough to want to put $$ into the game to skip certain parts or upgrades. They don't care about their players or try to be fair with events that a person with a life can't complete unless Paying to skip steps or even show appreciation to players that have been playing for years. They say they aren't based in Russia but that's now, they moved to whatever neighboring country for tax reasons. They are Russian Backed Russian created majority Russian staff with a absolute clear Russian Bias in game. Biggest DONT DO, DON'T SPEND ANY $$$ WHATSOEVER WITH THIS COMPANY. It's a great game but extremely frustrating at the same time with completely rigged matchmaking depending on if you are using Booster or just generally getting bent over and screwed by the game for days before getting good matches again. That aside,it's a heavily P2W and events have a Gambling system so rigged it makes a Vegas casino seem like angels in comparison. Planes, Tanks, Ships, and Helicopters can all be used in the game. An enhanced combat simulation game that delves into the world of vehicular combat. ![]()
